So things, well as far as the job search, continue to be quite dismal, but I am still okay with that.  I just simply would like to know what I am doing wrong, or what is the ‘other guy’ doing.  I mean, I don’t brag about myself, but I have always thought of myself as a pretty good person all around, I can carry a conversation, I’m pretty smart, I work hard…..what am I missing?  I just wish that employers would tell you why they didn’t choose you for the job, I can take it.  Maybe they didn’t like my face or maybe I smelled, who knows, but if they told me I could fix it.  I guess it’s just frustrating, you have such a great interview, then you find out the position was given to someone else.  Just give me a reason, something to work on, something.

Other than that, things are going great down here in IA.  It’s VEISHEA this week, in case you don’t know, VEISHEA is Iowa State’s big festival in the spring.  This week should be a lot of fun.
