So Viva Las Vegas!

Wow what a great time! I definitely was a little hesitant when I knew I was headed to Vegas for Spring Break.  I mean, I am not a big gambler or risk taker, and there I was headed to none other than ‘Sin-City’, what was I thinking?  Well as it turns out, Las Vegas can be fun, even for those not so risky people.  We stayed at the Tropicana Hotel, which bases its name on its pool area, tropical indeed.  I spent most of my time relaxing and lounging in the pool area, soaking up the sun.  I was in heaven.

Oh and did I say I got to play some golf over break, yes!  On the 21 hour trip out to Vegas, we decided to drive on down to Phoenix to visit Grandma and Grandpa Cooper, which it was very nice to see them.  Also, we were able to play some desert Golf!  I had a blast, my golf game was not stellar, but who cares, it was beautiful and I was not doing homework.

So all-in-all, it was a great trip.  The drive back, was not my favorite part, but definitely an experience to remember.  We ended up arriving back in Ames, IA around 8:30 AM this Monday, wow was I tired.

Now, I am finally caught up on some much needed sleep and excited to tend to my tumblr, again.
